It was a pleasure photographing the re-opening reception and ribbon cutting for the Emerson School. The National Trust for Historic Preservation team, along with it supporters and donors, restored the school and made the school another gleaming aspect of Capital Hill. With stories from locals who grew up around the school and stories from the current local shop owners who keep this area thriving, it was nice to see such heart, soul, and pride out into preserving this Denver building and its spirit.
